MARCH BEST ALBUMS 2021: Citrus Clouds - Collider
Collider, the latest LP from Citrus Clouds, is without any doubt an outstanding
album that brings the band to a whole new level of sonic dreaminess.
Collider is dynamic, coherent, cohesive the songs align together perfectly like
a constellation of stars in the summer skies where Pastel Sky, In a Daydream,
Let Love Find You, Summer Everywhere and Motion Blur shine brighter.
Collider is Citrus Cloud's opus magnum so far and is undoubtedly demonstrative
of the evolution the band went from being labelled one more post-MBV/Slowdive
outfit to conquer their own soundscape more and more punctuated with a seed of
genuine indie rock. We can deservedly say that Citrus Clouds sounds to Citrus
Clouds, and that is quite an achievement.
